Housing Programs

Rapid Re-Housing:

  • Short -term program, which identifies an individual and their family as a survivor fleeing from domestic violence and in a homeless situation, due to fleeing. This program allows Transitions of PA to pay, 1st months rental assistance and security deposit, and continued assistance with rental fees, for up to an additional 5 months. 

 

Service areas include: Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder and Union Counties.

Permanent Supportive Housing:

  • Long-term program, which identifies an individual that is in a chronic homeless situation, due to Domestic Violence and has a documented disability. This program allows Transitions of PA to pay 1st months rental assistance, security deposit, continued support in rental assistance, for 18-24 months, and can also assist survivors with their life sustaining utilities. 

 

Service areas include: Clinton, Lycoming, Northumberland, Schuylkill, Snyder and Union Counties.  

We are a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) agency committed to abuse prevention and to breaking the patterns of abuse. It is the agency’s goal to empower victims to take control of their lives and to make the best choices for themselves and their children.  Our service area includes the central Pennsylvania counties of Union, Snyder and Northumberland.
